Jody Dickerson graduated from the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University and attended the Interaction Design Master’s Programme at Malmö Högskola in Sweden. Prior to joining the Neil Squire Society, Jody worked in Community Living, where she provided a wide range of support and assistive technology services promoting safety, independence, and communication. Bringing diverse experience to her current role as an Assistive Technology Specialist and Trainer at Neil Squire, Jody specializes in utilizing disability-specific and mainstream technologies to eliminate access barriers resulting from physical and cognitive challenges — tailoring systems to suit the specific needs of users and offering comprehensive training, empowering them to use technology independently and effectively.
