David is a teacher on Vancouver Island, and he has hearing loss.

Through WorkBC Assistive Technology Services, he received funding for the hearing aids he needs for work.

“The assistance in buying my new hearing aids is a great gift I received, and I wish to express my gratitude,” he shares.

David has noticed a big difference in his ability to hear with his new hearing aids, and is looking forward to using them at work.

“It has made a great difference and having had hearing difficulties most of my life, it is a joy to feel more confident having this technology which I could not purchase on my own,” he says.

“I will be going back into the classroom to teach next week and I feel confident this will be very helpful.”
