New Hearing Aids “Have Maintained My Ability to Do My Job”

A woman uses her phone while using a laptop.

Tiffany works as an executive for a non-profit. She has moderate to severe hearing loss.

“If I don’t have hearing aids, I cannot work,” she shares.

When her old hearing aids started to fail, her audiologist referred her to WorkBC Assistive Technology Services for funding for a new set of hearing aids.

“I received a new set of hearing aids just as my old ones died,” she says.

“They have maintained my ability to do my job. The direct Bluetooth connection from phone and computer to hearing aids has made taking video calls easier and more effective with better audio clarity.”

Tiffany says she recommends WorkBC Assistive Technology Services to others, particularly praising the service she received.

“[WorkBC Assistive Technology Services staff were] supportive, helpful, and patient with me,” she says. “Thank you!”
