Christianne Shares Her “Sincere Gratitude” to WorkBC Assistive Technology Services
Christianne, who lives in Sandspit, works as a care home aid in long term care facilities and private homes.
She was born with hearing loss in her right ear, and had further hearing loss in her left ear after developing Bell’s Palsy.
Through WorkBC Assistive Technology Services, Christianne received funding for a pair of brand new hearing aids.
The new hearing aids have made a big difference in Christianne’s workday.
“The hearing aids I purchased improves many aspects of my life. I find myself to be more interactive with others because I can hear and keep up with conversations. The sound is more clear and direct with less background noise of interference. With Bluetooth technology, my business calls are more professional and accurate,” she says.
“I had learned to live without for so many years that I did not realize how much of life I was losing out on.”
Christianne is very grateful for the service she received from WorkBC Assistive Technology Services.
“I sent my sincere gratitude to all those who worked on my file and helped me get through the application process,” she says. “My sincere gratitude for the financial help I received from WorkBC [Assistive Technology Services]!”
